The Paralyzed Veterans of America, Cal-Diego Chapter is proud to announce the Sixth Annual Freedom Festival for Veterans will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 immediately following the Veterans Day Parade.
The Freedom Festival is organized to help veterans and their families, as well as the community at large see what services are provided by local non-profits and several service vendors. We love the placement at the end of the Veterans Day Parade and the ability to show our veterans that, as a community, we care about them and thank them for their service to our country.
The event is held on Tuna Harbor Pier, directly under the transom of the USS Midway Museum, from 11:00am until 3:00pm. Food, music, a beautiful setting—what could make this any better? Honoring our veterans and service members, that’s what we do.
The Freedom Festival Car Exhibit event will include classic Corvettes and Shelbys, and feature two adaptive race cars that are used in PVA, Cal-Diego MotorSports Program.
The event is free to the public. More information can be found at www.caldiegopva.org.
