Hey ladies, do we ever need an excuse to shop? Well Sassy City Chicks is coming to Horton Plaza next week, Thursday, February 23, 2012 and you can certainly get your shop on! I was immediately drawn to the name of the event because “Sassy” is my nickname, a name my mother use to call me when I was being “sassy” or asking her a ton of questions as a child! I recently had an opportunity to speak with a couple of lovely ladies from Sassy City Chicks and wanted to know a little bit more about their upcoming event:

Q. How and when did you start Sassy City Chicks?
A. Sassy City Chicks was founded in 2001 by publicist, Isela Blair. The Sassy City Chicks Fashion Bash has grown from a typical trunk show sample sale, to a national shopping event held in 8 cities that showcases upwards of 50 + designers and over 100 labels at one single event. Produced by a LA fashion PR firm, Haute Life PR, the Sassy City Chicks Fashion Bash is the ultimate girl’s night out attracting as many as 2000 women per day.

Sassy City Chicks is known for their classy events, upscale venues, and famous spa lounge where services are always free. While Sassy City Chicks offers shoppers great perks such as the spa services and gift bags, the purpose of the Fashion Bash events is to focus on a woman’s favorite pastime – shopping!

Shoppers will experience an unforgettable evening filled with shopping, cocktails, spa services, and a reusable tote bag filled with a bevy of beauty products and other fabulous goodies.

Q. You do the event in several cities, any plans to add more cities?
A. We are presently in 8 different cities nationwide: Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta. Dallas and Atlanta are debut markets this year and there are plans to expand into two more cities in 2013, those cities will be announced soon!

Q. Are you still seeking designers for the event, if so, how can they apply?
