Jazz and artistry collide at the Brooks Theatre in Oceanside for a special, one night only event called “Blue Christmas: An Evening of Jazz & Art with Blue Chunks” featuring North County’s premiere jazz ensemble Blue Chunks, Saturday, December 22, starting at 7:30 p.m.

The band’s classic instrumentation of piano, bass, drums and saxophone will generate decidedly funky renditions of jazz standards and holiday favorites, while the theatre plays host to an intimate gallery of original artwork from some of North County’s finest artists. Emcee Connor Gressitt will round out the evening with his comedy and magic.

here will also be some Opportunity Baskets and Silent Auction items – great for last minute Christmas gifts. The event is promised to be one of the best holiday parties in town. All seats are $25.00. Doors open at 7:00 pm, 30 minutes prior to show time. Brooks Theatre is located at 217 North Coast Hwy in Oceanside. Oceanside Theatre Company operating The Brooks Theatre and Studio 219 is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
