San Diego Harley-Davidson is throwing a Grand Opening Party that will reflect their giant new super store at 4645 Morena Blvd., San Diego CA 92117.  The entire party is FREE and jam packed with good bands, food, vendors and bikes!  

The party will be held as an all-day celebration on Saturday, March 22 starting at 9am.  San Diego Harley-Davidson hosts a free pancake breakfast every Saturday and on this day they will continue with this tradition after which Superunloader will play an acoustic indoor live show at 11 a.m.  Gates open at 1 p.m to prepare for UNKNOWN Riders Nick Leonetti, Buddy Suttle, and Kade Gates riding demo at 2 p.m.  Owner of San Diego Harley-Davidson “New York” Myke, Top Executives from Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Mayor-Elect Kevin Faulconer will welcome the crowd and take part in the official ribbon cutting ceremony. The party continues at 2:45 p.m. with first band Mower followed by the headliner band P.O.D. at 4 p.m. From door prizes to incredible raffles, beer gardens by Ballast Point & Green Flash Brewery and to food from Hodad’s and Taco Man, and vendors like Sector 9, Avasin Surfboards & UFC, this is a party not to be missed. The Grand Opening Celebration is an all ages event with a beer garden for those 21 years and older that will take place rain or shine!  

San Diego Harley-Davidson is teaming up with an all-new UFC Gym that is moving in next door to the dealership. The UFC Gym will be raffling off a brand new 2014 XL883N Sportster Iron to be given away at a later date to one lucky rider! Also making a special appearance during this time period is Ashlee from San Diego’s #1 Morning Show, “The Show” on Rock 105.3. 

While the entire event is free, all donations collected will go directly to the Boot Campaign. The Boot Campaign helps raise awareness of the challenges American troops face when they return home and directly help military personnel in this transition.
San Diego Harley-Davidson is family-owned and operated for over 20 years, purchased by New York Myke in 1993 who is a Vietnam Veteran and whose daughters and sons-in-law all attended the U.S. Air Force Academy and served proudly. An impressive amount of the staff at San Diego Harley including most of the management is also veterans. San Diego Harley offers special military programs for all active and retired military. And to showcase their military pride, the showroom floor features a military star blazoned from one end of the showroom floor to the other.
